Youth for Human Rights: Raising Awareness for Social Justice and Equality

Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:
"Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of themselves and of their family, including food, clothing, housing, medical care, and necessary social services." This article emphasizes that every person has the right to live with dignity, free from poverty, hunger, and insecurity. It ensures access to basic needs and support in times of hardship. As part of our Erasmus+ project "Youth for Human Rights", students from Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Slovakia, Greece, and Turkey worked together to explore this essential human right.
Through research, creative collaboration, and international dialogue, they reflected on what an adequate standard of living means in different countries and why it is so important for young people to raise awareness of social justice and equality – not only across Europe, but worldwide. This video shows the results of their work and aims to inspire reflection and action.
