Youth for Human Rights: Article 7 – Equal Before the Law

Article 7 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights reminds us that "All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law." This article underlines the universal right to justice, fairness, and protection from discrimination — a principle that remains as relevant today as ever. As part of our Erasmus+ project "Youth for Human Rights", students from six countries — Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Slovakia, Greece, and Turkey — worked together to explore this article. Through joint discussions, creative work, and reflections, they examined what equality before the law means in their societies and how young people can help protect and promote this essential right.
