eTwinning-Project: Underrated Women: Charlotte Garrigue Masaryk – A Life Beyond Borders

In this video, our students present the life and legacy of Charlotte Garrigue Masaryk, a remarkable figure in Czech history and the wife of Tomáš G. Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia.
The presentation sheds light on her American roots, her influence as an intellectual partner in the founding of a democratic state, and her enduring role as a symbol of cross-cultural understanding. This student-produced video is part of a broader project on historical female figures in European democracy.
